I have a Master’s degree in Mathematics, and A’s in four graduate statistics courses, and I have held a full time job for years doing nothing but statistics.
Somebody is teaching you bullshit about statistics or bullshit about how evolution works. Statistics do not prove evolution to be impossible, in fact statistics prove the exact opposite.
I also have a PhD in Computer Science and I’ve been using genetic algorithms (which mimic evolution to solve problems) for 40 years; in fact genetic algorithms are the only form of AI that I consider to be truly creative. Genetic algorithms mimic evolution and statistics proves that they can be exponentially convergent.
That is the opposite of “impossible”, in fact as a stripped down version of evolution preserving the critical random component of evolution; genetic algorithms pretty much proves biological evolution is virtually certain to occur — which is what we observe in both nature and in biological experiments in the lab.
Evolution is taught and spoken of as being true because it is true, beyond any doubt, in the real world.
Your fantasy world does not count.
