I don’t know why. Maybe because of Trumpies Tantrums on tariffs? Canada doesn’t like to vote in anyone who’s gone bankrupt multiple times. Instead we elect a 2 time governor of the banks of Canada & the bank of England who graduated from Harvard than went to Oxford and got a PhD in finance.
We don’t let qualms influence our nation. Trump does. Than makes up shite about our fetanyl laced border to apply stupid tariffs. Canada actually wants to make him Canadian person of the year here. He’s bringing in factories from the US into Canada like Stelantis. Caterpillar, Ford. GM. Boeing, John Deere, Case IH.
He’s cost the F35 programs literally billions of lost sales & brought Saab to Canada. We don’t know why you guys are blind to Trumpies vision. The world is asking the same thing? Stupidity perhaps? The US is lucky that Doug Ford and I aren’t in charge. 50% on gas and oil. 50% on lumber and power & hydro.75% on Precious metals & rare earth’s minerals.
Where da phuck ya gonna buy your oil & gas, power and rare earth shit from? Russia? CHINA? YOU REAP WHAT THE DUMBSHITE SOWS.

It took me a while to work out what was being asked because Stellantis is the fifth largest car manufacturer in group in the World, and of the European companies, second only to VW.
But looking at the other companies mentioned I’m guessing the question is more, why are they leaving America.
Probably because their main operations are in Europe and the USA isn’t a great place to do business anymore.
Looking at the other brands I’m guessing the person asking sees Stellantis as “Chrysler”, and the marketing they use in America pushes this idea, but it’s wrong. Chrysler was completely bought out by FIAT. FCA wasn’t a partnership like the previous venture with Mercedes, FIAT owned everything Chrysler and just used the name. Stellantis is a merger between FIAT and Peugeot, the Agnelli family are the biggest owners, Stellantis is more FIAT than Anything else.
FIAT made it clear to the Italian government their business is making cars, not providing jobs to Italians, do you really think the same people would feel any differently about American jobs?
TLDR Stellantis is a European company and this is just business.
