Is Karoline Leavitt more of a good or a bad person, objectively speaking?

Bad.

She doesn’t have to work. She’s the pretty wife of one of Trump’s friends and Big Donors. Her husband is thirty years older and rich. She lies to us for fun. So very proud to have an Important Job and get to be on TV! Never mind that that job is LYING and she’s too stupid/inexperienced to make it even sound plausible. Yak, yak, talking head. Does she even hear herself? She’s sold her soul.

Karolyin Leavitt has taken to leaving her cross at home when she tells her biggest falsehoods. Maybe she’s afraid she’ll be struck dead.

Karoline Leavitt is 28 years old and has no relevant experience in media relations or in media in general. Her biggest qualification for the position is that she married a man more than twice her age who is independently wealthy.

Her husband donated a large sum of money to the Trump 2024 campaign and bingo; his young pretty wife becomes Trump’s press secretary. I cannot say whether her hair is naturally blonde or not. But knowing the young women in the Trump camp, I would wager that she is a bleach bottle blonde.

Is she a good or bad person in her position, I can’t say. But compared to President Biden’s press secretary, she is not qualified for the position. Most likely her major qualification is that she is good eye candy. Donald Trump likes his women young and blonde.

Addendum to this answer. I have received many comments from people insulting my intelligence and accusing me of having “Trump derangement syndrome” which is a derogatory term concocted by the right-wing media to describe anyone who is critical of Donald Trump.

Any comments that are insulting to my intelligence or uses the term TDS or Trump derangement syndrome will be deleted without any reply. If I begin receiving too many comments that are insulting or uses that term or abbreviation TDS, I will disable all comments. If you cannot engage in a civil discussion without making false accusations or insulting my intelligence, just don’t bother to comment.

When Gerald Ford became president upon the resignation of Richard Nixon, he chose as his press secretary Jerald terHorst, an old friend and professional journalist from Michigan whom he had known for years.

Almost from his first day on the job, terHorst was badgered with reporters’ questions about whether Ford would pardon Nixon for his alleged crimes of obstruction of justice and subornation of perjury. Unable to answer on his own, terHorst went to Ford and asked him if he was planning to issue a pardon. When Ford denied that he was, that’s what terHorst told the press.

So he was blindsided when Ford did indeed grant Nixon ”a full, free and absolute pardon” in a decision that had obviously not been made on the spur of the moment. Angry at being lied to, terHorst resigned after only a month on the job. He said he could no longer function as press secretary because, with Ford having made a liar out of him, the press corps would never trust him again.

Now try to imagine Karoline Leavitt in terHorst’s position. Not only would she not have resigned on principle, she would cheerfully lie to the press corps if her boss told her to, or even on her own initiative. I don’t know if she’s a good or bad person outside of her job, but with very few exceptions if any at all, Trump seems to have hired only people who have so much respect for truth that they don’t wear it out through overuse.
