I asked my cousin brother this and all I could get from him was a perplexed look and a question “What is that,anyway?”

I told him what it was and he just couldn’t stop laughing. He said that he had never ever seen or heard any guy discuss this with other guys. He wasn’t even aware it was a thing. He said that men first observe the fairly observable attributes first with the hair length and colour topping the list.

I even asked him if the shape of a girl’s eyebrows mattered to him. He again started laughing hysterically and told me that these were some things that guys don’t even ever think about when they see a girl/woman. They couldn’t be least bothered by thigh gap/eyebrow size/shape.

I asked him his preference and he said he just liked girls with some meat and who are not starved out dolls. Also he likes girls with perfectly aligned teeth.

According to most guys these are things that are used by girls to judge each other. So ladies, if you are doing it to attract the opposite sex, please note, nobody cares.

And later I recalled many things that only matter to girls and nobody else. Being from a girls convent, I can recall many such things.

Winged eyeliner, matted lips, highlighted face, perfectly groomed eyebrows, big lips, padded buttwear ( or whatever that is called) and a lot more. Guys can just make out one difference- whether there is makeup or no makeup. Heck, even I didn’t know about all these things up till a few months back.

Not bashing anyone who is into fads, just stating some facts that many people don’t observe the subtle changes one makes to ones appearance. For me personally, a nice smile and a warm personality does wonders.
