Does U.S have any F-14 fighter jets that can fly?

The majority of people think that every F-14 exists in the museums either stored up or on display only, nevertheless, there are those that are stored in special storage in the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base also referred to as the Boneyard.

To protect these jets against the sun, rain and dust, they will provide them with a protective cover. In case it is necessary they can be re-ready to fly.

Such are the maintenance arrangements of eight F-14s:

3 F-14A

2 F-14B

3 F-14D

The F-14 in the Smithsonian can be re-flown even in the event that it is in good condition.
