What are the reasons of enmity between Israel and Iran?

Domestic politics.

Protests in Iran during COVID

Iranian government is about as popular as your garden variety child molester is in Florida. They have a few friends, but most people shun them and would like to see them hanged from a tree, shot and ran over by a buick. They keep control using repression and propaganda, but it’s not working very well any more.

How do you solve that? Well, if a foreign force were to attack Iran, the protests would be less of a threat to the regime. Cue in Israel, who’s a convenient target because none of the other countries in the region will retalliate if you hit them. Better yet, they happily hit back, giving you all the excuse you need to come down on protests, hard, arrest key leaders as Mossad agents and so on.

It’s not much different in Israel. Netanyahu isn’t all that popular, but he’s more popular than Iran is and so long as Iranian missiles and drones keep coming down on Israel, he can maintain power. This is a new development. Iran has been doing this type of feces for decades now, but Israel only in the last few years.

The governments of Iran and Israel are now basically allies against their own respective peoples.

In July 2015, the US, Iran, and five other world powers came to an agreement concerning Iran’s nuclear proliferation. While President Barak Obama has promised that this deal would cut off Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons, off Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. openly disagrees.

Isreal and Iran have had a long and tumultuous relationship science the late1970, which has only progressively gotten worse. so, why do Isreal and Iran hate each other?

Well, it all started in1947 when the united nation held a vote to split the Palestinian region into Israel and Palestine. At the time Iran was one of the other 13 countries to reject the proposal. once the Israeli state had been established Iran voted against the UN.

However, Iran soon becomes one of the first Muslim-majority states to unofficially recognize Israel sovereignty in1950 in fact, the two other countries ended up sharing a close relationship due to Iran’s secular leadership from 1925 to 1979.

The two countries had thriving trade and even combined military forces to develop new technologies. But everything falls apart in 1979 when the shah of Iran was overthrown by religious leader Ayatollah Khaoomeni, Iran became an Islamic republic, ruled by Islamic law.

Khomeini quickly severed ties with Israel as well as the United States calling them ‘’little and ‘’big satan. still, during the Iran-Iraq war, Israel supplied Iran with military equipment which has been considered crucial in Iran’s victory. Yet anti-Israeli rhetoric continued and increased within Iran. Notably, in1985, an Egyptian man murdered 7 Israelis on vacation in Egypt.

In response, Iran issued a stamp featuring a picture of the murderer, and named a street in their capital after him, glorifying him as a hero and a martyr. Their relationship continued to deteriorate with further Iranian leaders calling Israelis existence illegal and parasitic, and for it to be eliminated.

the most significant break down came as president Ahmed dinejad was elected in 2005. He called for the end of the Israeli state and supported the Iranian born and Israeli terrorist organization, Hezbollah. He is also a known Holocaust denier. He is also a number of Iranian nuclear scientists who have been associated with Israeli intelligence agents in order to stop nuclear development.

At the same time, the US and Israeli and Jewish targets by Iranian agents in 2012, several Iranians ear arrested after a plot to bomb diplomatic officials were discovered. Today, tension has centered on Israelis fear of Iran obtaining nuclear weapons.

Although Iran has repeatedly promised to never develop a nuclear missile, they have al=slo repeatedly been caught attempting to do just that.

With Iran having operated as a religious state since 1979, there is little hope of the two making peace anytime soon. Iran’s nuclear proliferation is a hot button issue with a storied history behind it.

Though there is infinity reason behind their enmity relation, I give some of them. And another important thing that all people think the main reason behind their enmity relation is RELIGION, I personally don’t think that.
