Elon Musk is pointing out something we all know. Of course, many refuse to face the truth, but nevertheless, we must open our eyes.

Facebook is a real pain in the ass. Facebook is hurting our society with permanent misinformation with the goal of permanent profit.

Profit is not a bad thing, but when it is done at the expense of truth and society, it becomes dramatic. This is the case with Facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg may have renamed the company Meta, but the goals are the same.

Facebook wants to take over the Metaverse, and that’s a terrible vision for the society of the future. As Elon Musk said, we must not let Meta take over that future.

Removing Facebook to reduce its weight is essential. This is a message that needs to gain momentum in the future. There are social networks that are much more respectful of their users than Facebook. That’s where you need to go.

If we as a society can’t recognise and reject the digital heroin that is destroying every aspect of civilization, well, we are going to deserve what comes next.

Whatever side you take in the Trump vs anything except Trump debate. Whether you are pro or anti vax. If you feel strongly about brexit. Do you strongly feel there are 2 genders that correspond to biological sexes, or do you thing gender and sex are independent spectrums?

In so much as you feel strongly about any of these things its because Twitter, YouTube and Facebook have algorithims that feed content to people on the basis of the other people they follow, and the other content they like. And the algorithims amplifly content on the basis of clicks, not truth, so anyone publishing in this space needs to make clickable headlines or they sink.

Facebook is the chief tumor of this heavily metastasized cancer: a commercial engine that makes money by dividing people into opposing groups and then profiting off the resulting click hysteria.
